Alice, Bobby, Cathy and Donald each drove their car to visit a different city last summer. These cities, not in their respective order, are Chicago, New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. Their cars, not in their respective order, were Honda, Toyota, Buick, and Mazda. To solve this puzzle, create tables below with Y representing YES, and X representing NO. Bobby drove a Toyota.
The Honda went to Los Angeles.
Since Bobby did not drove the Honda, he did not go to Los Angeles. Cathy went to Miami.
Since Cathy went to Miami, she did not drove the Honda.
Donald did not drove the Honda. Therefore Alice drove the Honda.
Since Alice drove the Honda, she went to Los Angeles.
Donald did not go to New York. Therefore, Bobby went to New York, and Donald went to Chicago.
Since Bobby drove the Toyota, the Toyota went to New York.
The Mazda did not go to Chicago, therefore it went to Miami, and the Buick went to Chicago.
Based on the above tables, we conclude that: Alice drove the Honda to Los Angeles. Bobby drove the Toyota to New York. Cathy drove the Mazda to Miami. Donald drove the Buick to Chicago.

Bits and Beyond ... PLATONIC SOLIDS Platonic solids are regular geometric solids with regular plane faces. There are only five platonic solids. These are the cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, icosahedrons, and dodecahedron. The cube has six faces, each of which is a square. The tetrahedron has four equilateral triangular faces. The octahedron has eight equilateral triangular faces. The icosahedron has twenty equilateral triangular faces. Lastly, the dodecahedron has twelve equilateral pentagonal faces.
