There are five vertices in a pentagon.
The sum of the angles of all vertices in a hexagon is 540 degrees.
When one joins the corners or vertices of a pentagon with
internal lines, a five pointed star is formed as shown.
When all sides and all angles of a hexagon are equal, the hexagon
is called a regular pentagon. Each angle of the regular hexagon is 108
degrees.
