Bits and Beyond ... HEX Hex is a game for two players invented by Pete Hein. It is played on a NxN rhombus of hexagons. The players alternately place pieces on the hexagons of the board. The objective of the first player is to form an unbroken chain of hexagons connecting the top to the bottom, while that of the second player is to form an unbroken chain of hexagons connecting the left side and the right side.
